Sponsored UK Study Trip

AAEF has launched the project to offer 10 exceptional students from less privileged families in Yunnan Province to visit the UK for 10 days

Anglo Asia Education Foundation (AAEF) has launched projects to offer students from different Asian regions to visit educational institutions in the UK including students from Inner Mongolia, Kazakhstan and China.

In 2018 10 exceptional students from less privileged families in Yunnan Province were sponsored to visit the UK for 10 days on an educational tour visiting Eton and Harrow Colleges , Oxford and Cambridge University and spending time with students at Park House School and St. Michael’s Catholic Grammar School.

In 2019 AAEF organised the visit of 12 students from Inner Mongolia to Visit the UK. They visited the Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford on Avon; Eton College and Cambridge University among other educational institutions including spending a day in a typical British school

In addition, AAEF is committed to supporting talented students, especially those who are exceptional in their abilities, have an appropriate level of English skills and are from less privileged families. The vision of the programme is to broaden students' horizons and encourage them to challenge themselves on the global stage.

After these trips, AAEF hopes to continue to assist the students through advice and consultation, especially if they would like to apply to study in the U.K. However, students are not obliged to apply to study abroad.

In addition to these trips, AAEF endeavours to works with local Asian local schools in supporting them in forming partnerships or exchange programmes with a suitable British school. This is in the hope of making bigger, more sustainable impact to students in the longer term.
